As a healthcare services company primarily providing services in the home, Addus’s operations have a comparatively low environmental impact.
Our business model allows the use of existing infrastructure, rather than the development of large facilities and related new infrastructure.
The Addus leadership team recognizes that it is important to contribute to a more sustainable relationship with our environment and we are creating new opportunities to do so.

Mass Transit and Flexible Work Options

We encourage our employees (and in certain cases fund their ability) to make use of mass transit options, where safely available, in order to reduce their carbon footprint. Additionally, we believe that the shift toward remote and flexible work (and related reductions in travel and commuting) will further reduce the indirect impact of our operations.

NEW CORPORATE HEADQUARTERS 

In 2020, we relocated our corporate headquarters in Frisco, Texas, to a higher density, mixed used development that we believe will reduce our environmental footprint. Highlights include:
