State below in reasonable detail the reasons why Forms 10-K, 20-F, 11-K, 10-Q, 10-D, N-SAR, N-CSR, or the transition report or portion thereof, could not be filed within the prescribed time period.

Addus HomeCare Corporation (“Addus”) will not file its Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the quarter ended March 31, 2020 (the “Form 10-Q”) within the prescribed time period. As previously disclosed, Addus was unable to timely file its Annual Report on Form 10-K for the year ended December 31, 2019 (the “Form 10-K”) in order to complete the valuation of a non-cash implicit price concession related to revenue and accounts receivable, including the periods to which it relates, and to perform the related internal controls assessment. Until Addus finalizes the Form 10-K it will be unable to file the Form 10-Q without unreasonable effort and expense. Addus intends to file the Form 10-Q as soon as reasonably practicable after filing the Form 10-K.

Addus has not filed its Annual Report on Form 10-K for the year ended December 31, 2019.

The registrant anticipates reporting significant improvements in results of operations as follows: net service revenues have increased to $190.2 million for the three month period ended March 31, 2020 from the three month period ended March 31, 2019, net income increased to $8.7 million and net income per diluted share increased to $0.54 for the three month period ended March 31, 2020 from the three month period ended March 31, 2019, and cash on hand as of March 31, 2020 increased to approximately $130.5 million from March 31, 2019. The results presented are preliminary, unaudited, and subject to change pending the filing of the Form 10-K and the Form 10-Q. Refer to the Current Report on Form 8-K filed on May 4, 2020 for additional information.
